Fleurs et Délices
History
Fleurs et Délices, dares the difference.
After over 25 years spent in the tourism industry, Élise Durocher, epicure, cordon bleu, and gardener combines her passions and founds, in St-Eustache during the spring of 2000, Fleurs et Délices; a tourism agrifood company who dares the difference.
Courageous, reckless or simply passionate, who knows? Helped by her husband and family, she decides to give an audacious mission to her company. She promotes organic culture, edible flowers and forgotten aromatic herbs. She even dares transforming these into fine confectioneries and others floral delights.
She attended herbalist courses, organic culture courses, horticulture courses, and has done many culinary searches. But, in spite of all, beginning is arduous.
The needs of sharing her passions combined with supply difficulties bring she and her husband to move onto a small farm in Terrebonne during the summer of 2004. Since then the garden is open to the public. She grows edible flowers and herbs needed for the all-natural fine confectioneries she prepares.
Élise is proud to satisfy a clientele in search of healthy yet distinctive treats. She desires above all to keep her sights set on quality.
If you visit, the first thing she will tell you is that “organic gardening is my priority because chemicals are harmful on human health and the environment, also because flowers and herbs I grow will be eaten.”
